Tyre Trek is designed in Australia and manufactured in Toowoomba, Queensland. Tyre Trek Swing Away first came onto the market in 2011 after we found there was no product in Australia that would fit our needs.

With Tyre Trek, we created a way for travellers to carry a spare wheel while maintaining the ability to carry dual jerry cans and a light pole. It can be easily installed on your vehicle’s tow-bar without having to do a costly bumper replacement.

We also wanted a product that is easily setup within minutes and still able to handle the tough Australian terrain. Since its’ inception the Tyre Trek Swing Away has seen continual growth and is sold across Australia.

In 2018 Tyre Trek started receiving requests for a similar product that could be attached to motorhomes, this is when the Tyre Trek RV Spare was designed.

The Tyre Trek RV Spare caters to the need for motorhome drivers to carry a spare wheel that is easily accessible or for the peace of mind that comes with carrying a second spare.

At Tyre Trek, we enjoy and appreciate hearing customer feedback and in this case it lead to the creation of a new product. We also love to see it when customers take the time to share photos of Tyre Trek on their travels.
