McHitch FORGED 1 &1/4″ hole Tow Tongue (2 inch drop)
At McHitch we have developed our own special, FORGED CHROMOLY,
tow tongues! These are the toughest tongues on the market by far. They come in two sizes that can also be inverted! For Rangers, Pajero Sport & models with short towbar receivers .

Finished in quality black gloss powdercoat, this tongue features an oversize 1-1/4″ hole size to suit our larger 6tonne tapered pins, and our 6tonne automatic receivers.
These tongues are rated to a massive 6tonne capacity with a max A-frame weight of 600kg.
These are a standard fit into any Hayman Reese type square receiver with a 2 inch opening.

McHitch 4.5 TONNE Automatic Coupler
Identical to our big 6 tonne coupler, this 4.5 tonne kit comes with the standard 7/8″ shank (standard towball size threaded shank) for ease of fitment.
where as a 6 Tonne coupling takes a 1&1/4″ threaded shank.
* A super low height of 125mm at its highest point. This is lowest coupling on the market.
*Capable of over 90 degrees of movement on every axis.

Set of 4, 1/2′ X 4″ long, Hi Tensile bolt set, These are the extra long bolts that are specially suited to our brake over-ride couplings, for both the drop-on and automatic models.

This tapered towpin by McHitch Couplings is a fit for the 3.5Tonne “Easy Fit” Drop-On Platinum coupling with weight distributing bars. Quality 304 stainless steel construction comes with spring washer and nut.
Remember, no grease is needed on these pins because no movement is placed upon them. This features a longer 75mm shank (standard thread of 7/8″ diameter). They never wear out or rust!

McHitch 4.5T Tapered Towpin (standard)
This tapered tow pin by McHitch Couplings is a fit for our 4.5 tonne Drop-On Platinum couplings. Quality 304 stainless steel construction comes with spring washer and nut.
Remember, no grease is needed on these pins because no movement is placed upon them. This features a 50mm shank and will fit standard tow tongues as well as weight distributing heads. Has a standard thread size 7/8″ diameter. They never wear out or rust!

McHitch Weight Distributing Head (WDH) adaptor plates
These adaptor plates are used when hooking up a drop on coupling onto a Weight distributing head. It replicates the surface of a normal tow tongue.
You can see the adaptor painted silver in the top picture.
This gives the tapered pin a nice flat even area for it to seat, and for the coupling to clamp down onto.
Comes with a spacing washer to go under the plate (if needed) and instructions for installation.
(DO NOT PLACE WASHER DIRECTLY UNDER THE TOW PIN).
